Starting to put the engine back together ,,,noticed the front pulley is locked down,,,,on this engine the engine is not locked down at TDC ,,,,,it is lock down at 150 degrees from TDC,,,,the reason is so no damage to valves can happen while performing any work on it,,,,you can notice the cam lobes are not facing in the normal up position or point at each other,,,,cam lobe on one bank is facing down and side ways,,,,it’s very different timing this engine,,,,,also with the intake and exhaust ports are in different positions.,,,,,this is not a normal engine to work on to say the least.

QUESTION. ON THE N63 OIL TURBO FEED LINE. A SCREW WAS DROPPED DOWN THE WHOLE. TRIED MAGNETS OF ALL SIZES. TURNING ENGINE. USE ENDSCOPE, DONT SEE IT. WHATS CHANCE THAT ITLL WORK ITS WAY DOWN TO OIL PAN OR UPPER OIL PAN WITHOUT DOING DAMAGE?

I replied on your last post,,,,the screw you are trying to get might be stainless which is not magnet,,,,now that being said the screw might have dropped all the way down to the oil pan,,,,it’s just hard to say what happened when the screw went down the hole.
