i3 starting to remove the dash for the recall on passengers side airbag,

This is the knee airbag for the driver side

I thought this was interesting,,,,this is a picture of the heater core,,,it looks like it just slide out the side,,,,looks pretty easy I hope,,,,maybe I’ll never find out.

Ok here’s a picture of the whole dash out now,,,,,notice the one piece aluminum brace structure,,,,look how’s it’s made to protect us during a crash,,,,the dash has to come out because the passengers airbag is bolted on the underside of the dash,,,so you can’t reach it or unbolt it from under the dash unless you remove the dash completely.,,,just for a recall
