Ok here something new,,,,this is a carbon fiber driveshaft,,,we have heard about it,,,but this is the first time seeing it,,,,when we remove it we have to put a Velcro jacket sleeve over it,,,this jacket sleeve is there so the carbon fiber doesn’t get damaged,,,,no knicks or scratches on the carbon fiber could damage it,,,,and that could be costly.b

Is this durable? Used to run carbon fiber drive shaft on wrx and it improved the acceleration significantly, but they don’t last.

I would thing it is durable,,,,but we will find out over time,,,,it’s a new design for BMW ,,,,,but knowing BMW they probably over designed it,,,,,lol
