This is a V8 M3 throttle position sensor,,,there is one for each bank,,,,this sensor measures the position of the throttle,,,,these can fault some times,,,when they fault the throttle actuators will also fault,,,,they both work together . When you remove the sensor,,,,you must watch out,,,because that little white plastic will come out at the same time,,,when it comes out it usually fall to the ground,,,,which can suck. Second it can go on two different way,,,,,but be careful,,,,this is the correct way,,,,the small end goes on the sensor,,,,,do not turn it around because it won’t bolt on.
