I have never seen this before,,,,I guess when you can’t take off the old front hood emblem,,,,you just glue the new one on top,,,,,lol

I have glued an emblem on the steering wheel airbag emblem as that is apparently part of the airbag and was bent inwards and looks fine. The hood emblem though looks silly. Still Im a bit worried that if in an accident the emblem stuck on is dangerous. How do the airbags open on a e89?

The airbag splits open and that emblem you glued on could hit you in the face.
